War Zone Earth
(9-18-05)
Rev.12:7-13:1
The great dragon was hurled down--that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! (9,12b)
Do you believe that God is real? How real? Do you believe Angels are real? Just good angels or do you also believe there are evil angels? Is the devil real? How real? If you are willing to believe that any of these exist, then they all must exist. If you think that only some exist, you are misinformed or are choosing to ignore what has been written.
First let it be said that this lesson is not written for the sake of scaring but beware there is strong reason for educating our selves about this war zone we reside in called earth. Anyone here not a local resident of earth? Anyone just passing through? If not then it looks like everyone present is in the W-Zone.
Revelation 12:7 tells us there was war in heaven. Verse 9 tells us the war in heaven ended with the devil and his angelic followers being hurled to earth. Verse 12 explains that this was reason for rejoicing in heaven but a "woe" for the earth and sea. Why? Because he is has come down to us and is filled with fury.
The last record we have of this event in scripture is: "Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring--those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus."(verse 17-13:1) Because the bible is true and its content reliable, it is recommended, strongly, that we become proactive in survival, rescue, confrontation and victory. The bible speaks much about this subject, both old and new testament. The notion that all the activity read about in scripture has ended. It is only a notion, propaganda instigated and spread by the enemy.
What is the enemys ways of war? Do you know? How does he do battle? How do you fight back? How can you? These are worthy questions and their answers greatly desired.
The world, those who are not yet redeemed do not have your advantages, they are in great peril, and you hold the hope of there rescue in your hands. (Col.1:13; Eph.2:2; 2Cor.4:4 Phil.2 14-16) On to the battle!
