Who’s Holding You?

Josh 24:14-15

Welcome to all.

    I sent out a thought provoking question through the email system. (We are all tools, the question is. Who’s holding the tool?) As I thought about this question my self and read some of the responses that I got back this passage of scripture came shouting at me. For everybody that has ever breathed air, is breathing, or will be breathing some time in the future all have to decide who they will follow, or what will come first in there life.

    Joshua makes a profound statement here when he said this (Josh 24:14-15). Joshua makes no buts about it. We all have to decide who will be first in our life. Who or what will be your God.

    Let’s look at how Paul puts it (Rom 13:11 -14)

    Both Moses and Jesus made statements of what God wants from us.

Deut 10:12-13 - Matt 22: 37 -40.

    Samuel made a statement to the people of Israel that will help us to see some things better (1Sam 12:24 ). We should not have to look too far to see what God has done for any of us. We look at a map to see how far we have to go and to see how far we have come. Gods word the bible, shows us how far we have to go and how far we have come.

    In bible times when they went out to do battle with the enemy not every one had the same weapon (tool). Some had swords, spears, bow & arrow some were on foot some on horses some in chariots. All had an important role in the battle and all had to do their put for the army to be successful. The same is true for us today. Not all of us have the same talents (tool) but we all need to be doing our part.

Eph 4: 7-16

    God has blessed his children through Jesus and he has given everyone of us a tool or tools to help fight the battle of good and evil.

    I ask the question. Who is holding you?
